Recent Projects

Development of an innovative process to transform asbestos waste into non-hazardous by-products. This large-scale project, backed by €20M in public funding, highlights its strategic importance. It includes the design, optimization, and validation of the technology on an industrial scale. The goal is to significantly reduce environmental and health risks associated with asbestos.

Implementation of a hydrothermal destruction process to neutralize bonded asbestos. With a budget of €2M, this project aims to create a facility capable of treating 8,000 tons/year of waste. The target production includes 1,600 tons/year of amorphous silica, along with other high-value compounds such as MgCl. This process combines waste decontamination with sustainable recovery of residues.

Development and construction of a second-generation bioethanol plant at pre-industrial and industrial scales. With a $20M budget, this project aims to convert 7,000 tons/year of biomass into 1,405 tons/year of bioethanol and 2,680 tons/year of pellets. It covers all stages, from process design to full-scale industrial implementation. This project contributes to energy transition and the sustainable valorization of local resources.
